Miss Eligibility Requirements 


.  In order to compete in a Miss Idaho local competition, you must:

  • Be a United States citizen
  • Be at least 18 years of age by July 31st in the calendar year of the state competition
  • Be no older than 25 years old on December 31, 2020.
  • Be a high school graduate or will become a high school graduate or complete the GED testing program prior to July 30, 2020 (for the 2020 Competition Year)
  • Be female, never married and never have had children
  • Be a legal resident of Idaho at least 6 (six) months prior to local competition
  • Geographic eligibility for local competitions - only one of these is required for eligibility:
    • Residency: Resided in the local competition area for a minimum of six (6) months prior to entering a local preliminary competition. Proof will be an Idaho driver's license, auto registration, current lease, student ID card, or any other official document establishing residency.
    • School: Completed at least one full semester at a high school, community college, or a four year college/university within the State of Idaho and must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (12 units) located within the franchise area of in accordance with the Miss Idaho nearest four year college rule. Proof will be evidence of registration, transcripts or other official documentation from the appropriate educational institution.
    • Work: Have been a full-time employee of a firm located within local pageant franchise area for a minimum of six (6) months prior to entering the local competition. Must also be currently employed by a firm in the franchise area. Proof will be a letter from the candidate's employer.



Teen Eligibility Requirements:

  • Resident of Idaho for the last six months
  • Must be 13 on the first day of the Miss Idaho’s Outstanding Teen Competition for the year in which she will compete
  • No older than 17 by July 31st
  • May NOT be 17 AND a High School Senior
  • U.S. Citizen
